大手予備校の特徴〜代々木ゼミナール編
さて、大手三大予備校の最後を飾るのが代々木ゼミナールです。
代ゼミについて言えることは最強の講師陣でしょう。
はっきりいってやりすぎです。
近年河合塾・駿台などから多くの有名講師を引き抜き、
参考書などでおなじみの講師や
テレビに出た講師などがあふれている。
そのほとんどの講師が首都圏（代々木校中心）で活躍しており、
地方校の講師との人気の格差が大きい。
地方校では衛星放送を使った授業がメインで、
講師はタレント扱いされることもしばしば。
もちろん地方講師にもすばらしい講師はたくさんいる。
人気講師はオリジナルの講座を多数持っており、
講座の量は他予備校とは比べ物にならない。
本科に通う時間や経済的に余裕のない方は代々木ゼミナールがお勧め。
豊富な講師・講座から自分に合ったものを見つければ、
他予備校のように割り当てられた講師の単科で合わなくても
我慢ということが少ない。
裏を返せば講師・講座選びがとても大切で、かつ難しいのが代ゼミ。
代ゼミの講師は高校の先生と比べると話は面白いし、
自分を売り込むのが上手い方が多い。
人気のある講師が素晴らしい授業をやるかといえば、必ずしもそうではない。
雑談目当てや、人気があるからいい講師だと思う生徒が
多数受ける場合が多いのです。
一度は体験受講や講習を受けて、自分で判断すること。
このとき多数の講師を受けて比べてみるのがいい。
またmilkcafeの代ゼミ板などネット等で情報を収集するのもいいかも。
しかし、最後は、自分に合うかどうか受けてみないと判断しづらいので
体験受講をお勧めします。
人気講師の講座は座席確保が大変。特に代々木校はいい位置を確保するために
何時間も前から来ているひともいる。衛星授業はそこまではないが。
すると衛星の方がいい気がするが、質問にいきづらい・気が抜ける等の問題点。
全国模試は難易度や傾向が半端な印象がある。
また職員の対応は、お世辞にもいいとは言えない。
基本的に学生の好きなようにやらせるといった感じの予備校なので、
自分で計画を立てて、
誰にも強制されずに勉強できる人向きの予備校といえる。
ロビーやプラザなどでは勉強しない生徒も多い。
その環境のなかでしっかりやれる人で、講師選びも半端にやらずに
最後まで信じてついていく人なら代ゼミは最高の予備校かもしれない。
