最初の勝負
もう3月の半ばに入りました。
そろそろ予備校の春期講習が始まる頃だと思います。
この時期は現浪問わず勉強に身が入りにくい時期です。
しかし、逆を言えばこの時期が最初の勝負とも言えます。
他のみんなに先駆けるチャンスです。
まだ早稲田の入試問題を見たことがない人は、
早めに一度見ておくことをお奨めします。
解く解かないは別にしろ目標を見ておくことで、気合いが入ります。
ただ、まったく解けなくても気にしないでください。
それは目標にすぎないのですから。
早稲田という山の頂上を確認してから山に登りましょう。
英語に関して言うと、基礎固めに力を入れたほうがいい時期です。
英語が不得意だと思っている人は、
おそらく「絶対的単語量の不足」か「基礎文法力の欠如」が理由だと思います。
「絶対的単語量の不足」については、
類推すればいいと思うかもしれませんが、
早稲田の英文における単語量は半端ではありません。
一定の単語レベルまで達しないと類推の必要な単語ばかりになり、
周りがわからなすぎるために類推できなくなってしまいます。
類推を極力避けられるような単語力を確立しましょう。
「基礎文法力の欠如」については、
基本書を何回もやりましょう。
なあなあで済ましていると痛い目に遭います。
一カ所がうまくわからなかったために
文章全体の意味がわからなってしまうこともあります。
確実な文法力が確実な文章理解を生みます。
そのために文法力をつけましょう。
この2つをおろそかにしていると、
絶対にあとでつけがまわってきます。
時間はいくらかけてもかまいません。
この2つが土台として確立するまでです。
そのあとには安定して成績が伸びていくはずです。
あせって先に行っては絶対にダメです。
テクニックを駆使してうまく問題を解いていけるようになるのも、
そのあとだからこそうまくいくものです。
国語については、古文の単語と文法は確実に。
早稲田は単語などはわかった上でのもう一歩を聞いてきますから。
社会はどの科目にも言えることですが、時間が必要です。
現役の人は特に勉強の時間量が違いますから、頑張りましょう。
みんなが解ける問題で確実に間違いないようにすることが大事だと思います。
とまあ、結論的に言うと何でも「基礎」です。
思うように成績が上がらずいらいらすることもあるかもしれません。
しかし、そういう時でも基礎力があれば、
最後には成績は確実に上がっていくものだと思います。
まず最初の勝負のこの時期に相手より一歩先行してください。
余裕がある状態でラストスパートを迎えましょう。
その先に合格は存在すると思います。
